Working at Height with Ladders - Full Day
The Full Day Short Duration Working from Portable Ladders course is divided into 2 levels. It is quite a comprehensive course with level 1 and 2 designed to provide delegates with the correct training of the methods to stabilise a leaning ladder for use with the correct type of fall protection equipment. Level 2 advances Level 1 by demonstrating the correct method of using fall protection equipment whilst climbing a ladder with 2 hands free, this will allow the user to carry any equipment up the ladder at the same time. At the end of the course there is a short test, when successfully completed candidates will be issued with a certificate and will then be considered to be a "competent person" as specified by the Health & Safety Executive.
