is ideal for those who have the responsibilities of internal inspections.
The Half day Inspection Course is quite a comprehensive course, it has been specifically designed to equip operators of temporary access equipment, and usage of ppe with the necessary skills required to conduct full formal inspections. This course will also help candidates to recognise and eliminate the dangers of incorrect usage.
Every time you use a ladder, podium steps or access equipment, (short duration use only) and ppe you should do a pre-use check beforehand to make sure that it is safe for use.
A pre use check should be carried out by:
The user;At the beginning of the day and every time you use your equipment
The benefit of conducting daily pre-use checks is that they provide the opportunity to pick up any immediate/serious defects before they cause an accident.
