Fire Safety Awareness & Extinguishers - Half Day
This course has been designed specifically for personnel who require a detailed understanding of the legal requirements surrounding fire safety in the workplace, it is also suitable for business owners, Managers and Supervisory Personnel. The aim of the course is to provide participants with an awareness of fire hazards, prevention methods and an understanding of fire extinguishers, whilst appreciating the legal requirements laid down in the Fire Safety Regulatory Reform Order of 2006 surrounding fire safety in the workplace with particular emphasis placed on conducting risk assessments as required by the order. At the end of the course there is a short test, when successfully completed candidates will receive a certificate and will then be considered to be a "competent person" as specified by the Health & Safety Executive.
