I would personally like to recommend the safe working at heights course that is run by the Apple Group, the full days course was very informative and educational and the instruction by Richard Appleyard has helped me in my role as an assessor, assessing aerial installers to gain their NVQ level 2 in Electrical & Electronic Servicing Signal Reception with The Manchester College.

Its content made all the candidates realise the importance of the various health and safety aspects of working at heights, highlighting the consequences of not using those procedures. Richard was helpful with any of the candidates questions and was willing to pass on his vast knowledge and experience when asked about the industry and best practices.

The quality and flexibility of the course has allowed me to recommend various installers to the Apple Group to re-take their training at heights course or train for the first time.
